Hi all, I have been watching this site for a while, although I just join the other day, I never had much to say before.

Now over the last few years while trying to understand some of the largest text’s I'm ever read, I have noticed that most of the theory written about socialism was written over 100 years ago.

I understand the meaning of these texts, but the context of them seems right out of place in today’s world.

The Communist manifesto was written at a time when communism was trying to find a global voice in a period of our history when capitalism’s way just showing its ugly side.

Now today we live in a world where capitalism shows nothing but its 'evil'.

Although able to understand this text, I found the language used and the reasons and examples given bear little resemblance to our world today( other then we are still peasants and still selling out labor as we where when the book was first written.

Now to my question,

Has anyone contemplated a rewrite, or complete new version of this manifesto?
One that could better reflect the meaning or labor and socialism in today’s world.

I understand that the manifesto as it is a very valuable asset to the both socialists and communists alike, but it does not truly demonstrate to people today the meaning of socialism in the 21st century.
