So I took that crimson test, and scored somewhat highly on the "council communism" side of things, and Socialist Action was listed as a council communist party. I read around on thier site, seems ok to me. But I didn't see anything that really led me to believe it was "council communist" or all to decentralized in nature. In fact it seemed quite Leninist with a Trotskyite flavor to me. And I was just wondering if anybody has some opinions, writings, or otherwise interesting info on them. Thanks.

that test is hardly accurate, but if you're interested in an outsider description of the Socialist Action here's a vague description from Politics1.com:

Socialist Action is a Trotskyist political party originally founded by expelled members of the Socialist Workers Party. While the SA shares the SWP's pro-Castro views, the SA still tries to retain its Trotskyist ideological roots (versus the SWP, which has drifted away from Trotskyism towards a more Soviet communist ideology). The SA states that they "oppose the Democrats and Republicans, all capitalist political parties, and all capitalist governments and their representatives everywhere ... [and] Stalinist and neo-Stalinist regimes from the ex-Soviet Union to China." To date, this group of communists have fielded some local political candidates in San Francisco and a few other communities. Youth for Socialist Action is the youth wing of the party.

Is there a link to that test? Only I did one yesterday and I can't remember what it was. This sounds like it though.

Dont believe those retarded tests. They are amusing, but thats about it. I took one awhile ago and got labeled something I definatly was not.

Hehehehahahoho, Poum 1936, you realize the "Crimson Test" was made by a member of this board? :D

Don't worry, just funny.
