Several FPM members have joined with Food Not Bombs on Sunday to be part of its weekly action and get started on expanding Food Not Bombs to Saturdays. As a result we have decided to start the meetings 30 minutes earlier so we can send down a few members to start preparing food on Saturdays to be distributed for free at Bushnell Park by 3:00pm. We would like to thank Food Not Bombs and the FPM members who helped get this started.
The next Food Not Bombs is on May 7th, followed by Sundays FNB on the 8th. We cook at the Charter Oak Cultural Center located at 21 Charter Oak Ave, Hartford at 1:00. We serve at the carousel in Bushnell Park around 3:00 pm.
Our next FPM meeting is Saturday, May 14 at 12:30pm at La Paloma Sabanera Coffeehouse and Bookstore, located at 405 Capitol Avenue, Hartford. All are welcome to come except Cops/Feds.
