So has he? Che made some contributions, but I've never heard of what Castro has done (if anything) in regards to theory. I have a couple of books by Castro. Well, they're not really books, rather collections of speeches on various topics. I haven't really looked through them yet, but I'm curious as to whether or not he has made contributions. Thanks.

The best course is to read his speeches and decide for yourself.
But, I confess, I know of no particular contribution that he's made to the corpus of revolutionary theory.

Not that I can think of offhand. There's really no such thing as "Castroism".

The only things that I have read of him is economic theory in Cuba and mainly how the embargo has affected the cubans and the terrorist attacks that have happened there by the hands of the American goverment through the CIA.

The embargo leads to the question of "what would Cuba be like if Kennedy never put the embargo on Cuba?"
It is a good questoin, which to me, seems to have no real definative answer.

I don't think so neither. I despise the embargo and the goverment that has kept it for the last 40 years but what can we do. The embargo has truly damaged the cuban goverment since the success of the Revolution there. We will never know what Cuba could have become if the embargo never existed.
But, I confess, I know of no particular contribution that he's made to the corpus of revolutionary theory
Wouldnt the best contribution be what he (and the leadership of the revolution) created, sure it wasnt a perfect socialist state, but it did stand against the imperialist powrs and reamained a beacon of defiance while other latin american nations were destoryed by the hegenomy of the north american powers.
Examine what he established and from that there could be some legitiamte contributions to the corpus of revolutionary theory
