Are you fucking joking? These bigots who don't understand that nothing is concrete and obey the law like blind bats are making lives worse. They're "well, it's the law" attitude is horrifying, and the fact that they are denying people refuge is disgusting.
Let's hope they all get some malignant tumor all at once. *tihi*

This kind of "activism" in the Arizona-Mexico border began in 2000 with the Neighborhood Watch Ranch. They put out ads in several newspapers thoughout the U.S asking people to "Have some fun in the sun". Indeed, some members were even tied with the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. Also, the current anti-immigration project is being supported by white supremacists of the National Alliance which have sent fliers asking people to come "protect the border" as did the NRW in 2000.
With that said however, not all people involved in this new '05 movement are "racists" or neo-"nationalist socialists". I was recently reading an article about this in Christian Science Monitor with a woman living in the area saying that she had several immigrants running though her ranch. She was in genuine fear that a confrontation might occur some day which would be harmful to both parties. Can I sympathize with this fear, yes I believe I could.
Nevertheless, I still regard these people as vigilantes. One of the problems is that many southern politicians build their political careers on "it's not my fault, it's Juan's fault" and this in turn encourages anti-immigrant sentiment that is simply irrational. One of the biggest arguments is that "illegals" hurt state agencies because "they" take healthcare and other benifits that they don't pay into. While this is true, one has to admit that there are also other social programs which "illegals" pay into, from which American citizens benifit and they never see a penny of.
For instance, social security and medicare, both of which "illegals" pay into but never see benifit from (however I will focus on social security in the following text). In order to work "illegals" get social security cards with fake social security card numbers. They pay payroll taxes that come off of their check, and goes to the federal government. However, the government now has fake numbers and doesn't know who deserves the benifits from social security, thus this revenue is kept by the federal government. Every year "illegals" pay 7 billion dollars into social security without seeing a penny of it, yet ironically the anti-immigration advocates complain about "illegals" taking advantage of social programs. Utterly ludicrous.

Starting in the late 1980's, the Social Security Administration received a flood of W-2 earnings reports with incorrect - sometimes simply fictitious - Social Security numbers. It stashed them in what it calls the "earnings suspense file" in the hope that someday it would figure out whom they belonged to.
The file has been mushrooming ever since: $189 billion worth of wages ended up recorded in the suspense file over the 1990's, two and a half times the amount of the 1980's.
In the current decade, the file is growing, on average, by more than $50 billion a year, generating $6 billion to $7 billion in Social Security tax revenue and about $1.5 billion in Medicare taxes.

This is an inherent charactristic of the imperialists who fell threatened by other's whom they brand as inferior. It smacks of the Apartheid regime of South africa. The north has exploited the south(america) to the point of lunacy and now they are shooting anyone who comes looking for refuge and jobs. This is just another step the U.S is taking towards Fascism.

Not all illegal immigrants are innocent people looking for a job; many criminals also use that border to sneak into the US. I can understand that some Americans want to put a stop to that. However, I believe that the border should be patrolled by qualified Border Patrol agents, and not by untrained civilians.

those would be law enforcers all the same. And sinec when are these 'criminals' bad? save perhaps the mass murders who escaped their lives in mexico to come live a better life of killing (<-facetious), the only 'crimes' these 'illegal' immigrants can commit are ones we anarchists and perhaps communists would commit ourselves.

Okay, so a criminal commits a crime in Mexico, then proceeds to a country that still has the death penalty and highest rate of incarceration in the world, policed by one of the most prying law enforcement agencies, alongwith border vigilanties. I heard of people fleeing to Mexico, not the other way around.. The united states has an extradition treaty with Mexico, so the rule of jurisdiction does not apply.
Not to say that all immigrants are angels, but the likelyhood of a senor jackthe ripper entering the u.s is extremely thin at best.
Basically no justification for the minuteman plan can be given. It's just a bunch of Texans wanting to go "spic-huntin'". as they would put it. This plan smacks of nationalistic racialism which only furthurs the arguement that the imperialistic United states is going the way of the third reich.

The minute man project is nothing more than a paramilitary group (right wing groups operating outside of the law).
These organizations have no respect for human rights!!!!!
The U.S government should inmediately stop them .

Well whether what they are doing is technically legal or not doesn't matter, it is absurd. In no other country can you pick up a gun and go "guard the border." I hate those hicks.
Also I think the US needs to finalize its position on immigration either let everyone in or no one that includes wasps and other europeans.

California, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona etc all should be given back to Mexico than the US wouldnt have to worry about the problem of "illegal" immigration.
Down with Northen hegenomy, imperialism and all forms of neo- monroe doctrinism, it all boils down to racism.

I don’t think those criminals enter the US in order to escape from law enforcement; most of them are probably smugglers or something.

Not all participants are necessarily racists. It is well-known that violent gangs are operating in that area, and that they cause a lot of trouble. Protecting your family from such gangs doesn’t make you a racist. The organizers have already said that they oppose racism and violence, so comparing them to the Nazis is ridiculous.
