Not that I feel not glad to be a part of a board like this..

but it comes down to the fact I don't think know a lot.
Browsing through this site I find many views etc that I simply don't know anything about. I'm 17, and probably one of the few people around my area who is as left wing as I am.

I found this site completely by accident. I typed "Che Guevara" into google and this came up. I don't know much left literature, except for the "Motorcycle Diaries" by Granado and Che Guevara's "Bolivian Diary".

People, advise me.

Welcome to the forum :)

What i would suggest is to read through some of the threads, click on a few links, maybe ask a couple of questions (remembering that the only stupid question is one that isnt asked) and maybe post a few posts on different threads throughout.

This site is quite high up in the search results for Che Guevara, as its called Che Lives, although the forum itself is called Revolutionary Left (www.revolutionaryleft.com or www.revleft.com to come straight to the forum).

*calms down* phew!

I guess it boils down to the fact that I want wealth to be shared.

Wow, it looks like I could really learn a lot of stuff here....

*flaps arms in a confused way*

where to start.....

Welcome to revleft :hammer:

but it comes down to the fact I don't think know a lot.

That is all subjective; many people know more and many know less, I am sure.
The mass of knowledege is a bit overwhelming and that will fade... a little.

Yeah; tell me about it... happens to me too.

Maybe so and maybe others are hiding out... look around.

This is not only about having wealth to be shared: - But for wealth to be balanced out so everyone is equal thus removing "classes" and hierarchy. That is the main argument of Communism. I think we all should strive uphold that appeal. An worthy ideal ;)

I wouldn't worry. I'm relativly well read on leftism as well as philosophy and politics in general yet I still come across stuff I've never heard of/don't understand. The trick is to get activly involved in discussion. If you have an opinion post it, don't worry about it being out of line with leftist thought, if it is you'll see countless counter arguments and hopefully you'll be able to take them on board and develop appropriately.
Welcome to the boards, and remember, if all else fails just enjoy yourself, we're a friendly bunch deep down (well, most of us ;) )

Also, for many of us (atleast I assume this) our knowledge is more to one area of leftism, in my case more in the area of my ideals. Anyway dude, welcome and if you want to learn, just read what you can. Another good site is: http://www.marxists.org/ as it has writings available by some of the great communist thinkers for free. Again, welcome dude.

Kurt, you basically need to start, I think, by asking questions and having them answered!
Have a browse and anything you don't understand, post a question here.
I'm sure you have in your mind your own idea of how you feel about the world in general so just go with it and you'll inevitably find your own political persuasion, or perversion :D
Don't be intimidated, all of us here are learning everyday, as will you, and you never know you may end up answering a N00bs' question in the future
So, take your time, learn all you can, and you'll get there!

This thread is full of love!

I think 99.9% of the "knowledge" on this board is pure bluff :P

Including what you just said, which makes that kind of statement kind of an paradoxial oxymoron. Nevermind that, just look up a dictionary of what I just said ment.
