Well, I mean I participated.
So it was really cool, we wanted to kick recruiters off campus, since they were showing up for the job fair.
The department of corrections people left when we arrived, they apparently saw people waving signs and shouting and figured we were portesting them
The recruiters all left, they told everyone they had "fulfilled their quota" which is a lie unless thier quota was 0 since no one got near their tables
The career center people even let us sit at the recruiters tables afterwards

This thread makes me happy :)
We need morew organization on this level because if the rulers can't get us to run the machines; they'll just have to do their own damn work! (same goes with military service)
Great Job. The College kids have all the power because it is YOUR world after you graduate. Vietnam was greatly affected by college students demonstrating to the point that I believe, helped end the war sooner than the wretched, gutless politicians wanted. Nixon even had 4 kids killed at Kent State! That bastard. As bad as Nixon was, Bush is even worse!

Well, this is awkward. I am happy for your victory, but do you actually believe in your cause comrade?
Or did you do it because there was some girl going?
Just wondering.

That is just funny. Never really saw it as a "cannon-fodder" type thing. That will make me laugh every time I see a recruiter for now on.

Where I came from the recruiters would set up a table during lunch and have people do physical things (pushups, situps, etc.) in the form of a contest to win Army apparel.
I would go sporting Communist and Anti-US gear and beat everybody else at the little game before rejecting the prize =)
