Over the past few years I have noticed that the Zapatistas have become more of an iconic symbol as of late, but I wanted to know just how powerful they are as a political voice in Mexico. It seems like they are largely being disregarded by the right-wing PRI, but perhaps if the Mexico city mayor is permitted to run their voices will be audible once more. What do you think?
