Anyone ever read James Joyce's Ulysses? I just started reading it and already I can see why some people consider it one of the most difficult books to read ever written. I flipped through the book a few times and noticed a few nice experiments, where Joyce changes writting standards to utilize the way scripts for plays are written and he even incorporates musical scores as well. I think I'm going to enjoy this work and I feel that when I finish reading it, I will declare it an epic conquest.
So, has anyone else read it, either in part or in whole? What are you thoughts in the book?
