If anything, our Leftists have consistently regarded Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro, Ho-Chi-Minh, Pol Pot, for a while Hitler, and all their minions as being kindred spirits of the same faith. And if anything, these bloody dictators are admired by Leftists to this day for their bold actions.

He makes it sound so nice. Lets look at this sentence by sentence.

The first sentence admits that capitalists are motivated by greed, will try many new things to get money or property from people.

The second sentence tells us that Capitalists may want to control the lives and behaviors of people working under them.

This is all new news to me. :o

The underlying idea seems to be that leftism is not a framework for understanding existing society, but a manifestation of an inner-failure - leftists are power-hungry and bloothirsty, driven by hate. Ironicly, this parallels almost exactly the crazed cold-war propaganda of an amusing little record called "Inside a communist cell". Typically, one would buy this record for a laugh. A chance to giggle at the paranoia of yesteryear&#39;s wingnuts.

Hillariously, he seems to read similarly less-than-altruistic motivations into the thinking of capitalists, but simply denies, outright, the practical implications of trhe monopolization of economic power, and the history of capitalist bloodshed.
