i was just watching the news, and i saw an excerpt from a speech by bush in california, in which he said something to the effect of "i noticed something about these corporations, they were trying to fudge the numbers, making them seem to be what they actually weren't." now, correct me if i am wrong, but didnt bush essentially do the same thing back in the day?

and now, onto simon. well, that speech from above was said before the meeting with simon (rep. running for governor). when he met with simon, and made a speech then as well, he made no mention of the corporate scandals. why? well, because simon's family business is in the courts for its business tactics. yet, bush, the man who just made a speech condeming those tactics, is giving full support to a republican candidate who is in the courts for that which he condems. oh how i hate the strict partisianship that occurs like that!

does anyone have some more info on the old bush business tactics and the ones of bill simon as well?
