Farenheit 911 is a great movie, get all your non-leftist friends to see it. If you have seen it, what are your impresions?

It was a great film, and really illustrates the evil of US when it comes to its "freedom and democracy" campaign. I'd love to see M. Moore actually band up with the 5th Estate CBC and do a documentary on something. That would be kick ass...I love the 5th Estate as well...very cool...very unbiased.

I enjoy the film. Is it just me, or does Michael Moore become fatter accordingly to his growing success?

Without the funds he can't make these documentaries. Everyone knows Michael Moore ain't a corporate fat cat (he is fat though :D ). So what if he has a nice car, atleast he is speaking up for what's right. I agree with the person above, that Bowling For Columbine was better.... that shit digusted me about that mother of that todddler who shot the other toddler, that nearly brought me to tears, and i aint one to cry alot.

the only thing i liked about eh film is the end point of how when ever there is a war it is the poor who take up arms for their masters unquestionalinly, and would do so with only one request not to be taken inot war without reason

I thought it was an excellent movie, and the righties are running scared, trying to denounce and rebuke it as lies. Whilst looking on one of their sites (know thy enemy), the best I could find was something along the lines of "Micheal Moore, is a big fat poophead". Also, anyone hear about "Farenhype 9/11"? Apparently, some people who hate Michael Moore have clubbed together and made this piece of shameless bourgeois propaganda. Word of warning: May contain Ann Coulter.

I agree, I don't really like Michael Moore, although I think he has some great ideas. I feel bad because I feel I am being elitest. I think he has got the airplay to get people interested and can provoke a reaction, but I don't think he produces work that appeals to slightly more "refined" tastes. To be honest I have'nt watched the latest one(and probably don't intend to), but have read his previous books and watched previous films. Keep up the good work Michael, I just don't particuarly like it, although its morfe than I am doing.

I've always liked Michael Moore. Although he does produce a lot of propaganda, he has a good message behind it. In all honesty, Michael Moore was the first leftist author of whos book I read. Also I saw bowling for columbine which realyl affected me. He was really one of the main people to get me into being a leftist.

The best thing was that the people who said this stuff before the movie were quickly dismissed as conspiracy theorists by right wingers and spineless liberals. But after the movie these things were regarded by more, not all, of these ignorants. It was also an enjoyable movie and factual.

I liked both Fahrenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine. Both very good documentaries.

Roger and Me, is another good one, it really sticks up for the workers that were fired by GM so that they could move to Mexico and pay the workers 11 cents an hour. Also Downsize This, the book that Roger and Me was based on was good and goes much more into ddetail than the movie.
Although it was a good eye-opener for many american citizens, I would hardly call this a documentary. It was an extremely manipulative peice of work, and while his message is correct, even I found it a little hoaky at times.

exactly
and in my opinion, Moore concentrates too much on Bush himself, the person and Idiot

Michael Moore makes leftist propaghanda more mainstream, and i believe that he has caused alot of "uncertain" people to cross to the left side.
