My favs are anything off the Opiate EP and most of Undertow, but most Tool is great.

I don't know why but Schism has never been one of my favourite Tool songs, which I would say is probably Sober and pretty much anything off the Opiate EP and most of Undertow, but most Tool is great.

i thought schism was made overated... i don't know tool is something i wouldn't like to hear on the radio and schism was always getting played on the radio. So people who didn't know the least bit thing about tool were all of a sudden like oh yeah tool is the shit... that is what i think of schism but since it is from tool i like nonetheless

I've got Undertow, and AEnima. Tool is one of my favourite bands. Their dark tone, and Manyard's vocals just give an atmosphere. Plus, they play in strange tempos, not just your every day 4/4.

Favourite songs up to now are Euology, Stinkfist, Parabola, and Ions (-) :lol:

Yeah, Tool is completely awesome. I think Schism is way overrated though, I much prefer Lateralus or Sober to it. I believe I now have all their released albums, and I'd say my favourite tracks would be Lateralus, Sober, Ænema, and Disposition, Reflection, Triad all listened to in a row.

What do Tool fans think of Maynard's other band A Perfect Circle?

Wow, its about time someone started a Tool thread. Of course these guys would have to be the ones who opened my mind to begin with and also opened the gateway away from shitty music. Some people pick the songs that end up being a little bit of a cliche, but what the hell. Its hard to pick a favorite song (its "bottom"), because each song sends a message no matter if your paying attention to the lyrics or not. The music is one thing (flawless) and the lyrics are another. Together they create a mass orgasm for my ears. They are honestly my favorite band no questions asked.

So along what lines where you thinking of Dark Fairy? I know that I was getting Alex Grey's third eye on my back or on my wrist. Maybe you'd like Cam De Leon's work? Well if anything, yeah why the hell not.

TOOL is awesome...and should produce another album, even though the whole Perfect Circle idea is interesting too...it isn't nearly as energetic, but still awesome as well.

Yeah TOOL should do something new but if they don't it understandable... sometimes when good bands don't make an album for a long time and finaly when they do it sucks! so if they don't it might be because they are scared that might happen... Damn even for me that is hard to think because look they made a song about maynard's dick and it kicks ass!

It depends what you're into so if you haven't heard of them it's because yeah their not Slapnut or a band like that... that's the type of stuff i can't get into... but TOOl damn i can't help but love TOOL...

true, DarkFairy... TOOL is one of those awesome bands, and creativity is a spiritual thing for them...if the moment isn't quite right then they don't produce. TOOL probably will never produce another album, oh well. Perfect Circle is pretty funky. I do like that band as well.

I don't like Tool all that much, their music dosen't appeal to me although there drummer Danny is awesome, he never missess a beat and produce fantastic pieces can anyone back me up???
