Could some people help provide me a list of countries and dictators that the US Government has backed and/or put into power?

Noriega of Panama -- he was a CIA angent, then he failed to comply with the U.S over something so they assasinated him. I don't know much background to this. But USA did kill a democratically elected president to instate him.

They did the same in El Salavador.

The U.S. didn't assasinate Noriega, he resides in a prison.

"12/89 The US invades Panama, ostensibly in order to capture Noriega, who is in a Florida prison serving a forty-year sentence for drug trafficking"

Which really is just a convenient way to get rid of an unwanted CIA, School of the America's graduate, personae non grata.

I didnt know Hugo Banzer was supported by the US, although it makes perfect sense. Did they support him before or after the coup? (I dont think we should forget Indonisias Suharto, and the attack on Eats-Timor in 1775. )
