Capitalism is bad for humanity and society in general. I say this because i believe that capitalism has it's roots in Darwinism. i.e survival of the fittest and those most able to adapt.
To furthur explain what i just said, the essence of capitalism is that those with more money have more power in society. Thus those businesses that have more capital or connections drive the smaller ones out of business leading the way towards the formation of monopolies. In this scenario, the wealth is concentrated into fewer hands and they either eliminate the competition or drive them into the proletariat(Darwin's concept of extinction).
Such a mode of society guarantees the formation of a bourgeois class and the proletariat, reducing man to jungle law and a sense of competition instead of a sense of brotherhood towards his fellow man, thus reducing solidarity amongst the people.
Anybody is free to argue, it's just an idea on my part.
