In Support Of The da Cruzist Revolution

New Jersey has entered a distinct phase of socio-historical development, which has expressed itself in the rising tide of da Cruzist revolution. In order to formulate a response, it is necessary to look at the conditions as they stand.
General da Cruz’s “New Progressive Program” is an articulation of the peculiar desires of the Jerseyite masses. It reconciles the internal divisions through the centralization of all economic and political authority, and the mass execution of discontents, under the auspices of Catholic-American nationalism, progressive political tendencies, and an unwavering commitment to democratic values. Bonapartism lies at the base of this philosophy, playing every class off against the other and paying lipservice to all strata and ideology in order to ensure the strength of New Progressive power. In fact, in juggling conflicting interests, da Cruz has styled himself a “Neo-socialist”, Jesus reborn, a distant Italian relative of the Kennedy family, and the legitimate heir to the Irish throne.
Though it may sound at best confused, and almost certainly reactionary, da Cruzism actually represents the most serious threat to American hegemony in recent history. The question remains, though, given the vague approach thus far, “What has actually been done?” Essentially, after the waves of popular uprising spread out from Lawrenceville, driven by the personality cult, a sort of Soviet-style Bureaucratic-Capitalism have appeared in their wake, though this does not do service to the very specific actions taken, which do not seem to adhere stricly to a Stalinist line, but appear almost random. There has been the establishment of feudal control over the state’s valuable cranberry and eggplant crops, and the appointment of a king (subservient to da Cruz) to micromanage the workings of agricultural production in general. Offsetting the inefficiencies of this, massive tribute has been extorted from Delaware to ensure the continued operation of the New Jersey Turnpike. The evacuation of Newark, and redistribution of its population has created a new labour pool, to relaunch New Jersey’s production of Agent Organge (and, at the same time, acted to deprive Manhattan of countless useless functionaries giving new influence to da Cruzist partisans operating in New York City). While New Brunswick and Paterson are also slated for destruction, make no assumptions about what might appear to be Pol Potism. The industry within other centers has been, as implied earlier, nationalized, and a national capital has been established at Camden. While the bicameral legislature continues to exist in theory, the demand that all business be carried out in that town's aquarium, has essentially made it powerless. The Senate has been permitted to meet at a large indoor/outdoor venue, but is consistently drowned out by popular rock acts, singing praises of the “National Savior”.
Because of the continued official existence of the Trenton government reconstituted in Camden, and da Cruz’s success in having the state’s official Green Party systematically killed, the United States Federal Government has refused to intervene, despite provocative statements by the General that he plans to use New Jersey’s growing stocks of freshly produced of Agent Orange for deployment against American civilians and the Federal Republic of Maine. In particular, the general has openly called for the destruction of Maine’s hard-won sovereign state, and the establishment of Barbarism in the region.
The Authentic Spartacist League (Right-Tendency) of Montreal, while recognizing that there is nothing even tangentially related to workers’ control under da Cruz, nor any particular justifications for such a position, considering the above synopsis, call on all Communists to support the right of da Cruz to acquire nuclear weapons. While he has not expressed any interest in doing so, we still support his right to do so.
