Ive been writing and writing about the Russian revolution (1917) for who knows what reason but trying to get the best picture of how everything really happened. Im writing it more alike a shoot story with a lead character, personalities and more then only history. But Ive noticed that I might have made a mistake. The question is who did really create/start the temporary government during the Russia reservations when Lenin didnt yet come to St Petersburg from Switzerland? The reason Im asking is because Im getting different answers and I would appreciative if someone can tell me their views of truth. I believe true communist are better at giving me an answer according to this subject then from what Ive yet been finding the unlike answers compared to each other. Its strange, isnt this what Im suppose to easily find in a history book and yet all of them that Ive held in my hand today arent mentioning it. <_<
Peace out!

What do you mean exactly ? Do you want to know who set up the Provisional Government or why it was set up ?

Well the Provisional Government was declared on the 2nd March. It consisted mostly of the liberal parties like the Kadets and Octobrists. It was dominated by the Kadets and their leader, Milyukov, who became the Foreign Minister. There was one socialist minister, Alexander Kerensky, who was the Minister of Justice. He was a key player in events later in the year. The new Prime Minister was Prince G. E. Lvov. He was viewed as a strange choice for Prime Minister, but he was popular. He had been widely praised for his efforts to bring medical support to soldiers on the Front. It should be remembered that this government only had a care-taker role and was only there until a Constituent Assembly was elected. The Provisional government had been elected by a special committee in the Duma, not by the Russian people.
I don't know how helpful this will be, but these were the key players and parties who set up the Provisional Government.

Wikipedia.com says,
The Russian Provisional Government was formed in Petrograd after the deterioration of the Russian Empire and the abdication of the Tsars.
When the authority of the tsar's government began to fail in March 1917, two rival institutions, the Duma and the Petrograd Soviet, competed for governmental power. As a compromise, a provisional government was formed that was to lead the country to elections for a constituent assembly. When Tsar Nicholas II abdicated on March 15 and his brother, Grand Duke Michael refused the throne the next day, the provisional government formally ruled Russia, but its power was effectively limited by the growing authority of the Petrograd Soviet.
The provisional government succeeded in organising the elections , but failed to end Russia's involvement in World War I, thereby weakening its popularity among Russia's war-weary people. It was led first by Prince Georgy Lvov and then by Aleksandr Kerensky. The government was overthrown by the Bolsheviks in the October stage of Russian Revolution.
