I'm wondering if any "resource groups" exist for the left--i.e. collectives, of a sort, dedicated to one particular skill or resource to provide leftist groups a viable means of expression. I know that many parties have their own resources, this isn't what I'm talking about; generally, that centralized control of the resources further divides the left, as only those who agree with the respective party's principles will have access to it. I also know that servers are provided to leftist groups for free hosting.. although I think this is quite useful, it's not what I'm talking about, either. I'm talking about groups of skilled-labor resources provided for free rather than material resources (which we still lack, as well).
For instance, there could be a voluntary, democratically controlled group that helps leftist parties/groups with programming, server admin., and general technical support. Or a group of writers, translators, promoters, designers, editors, etc. etc. ad infinitum. The Right generally has this widely available, as do churches; the left, however, seems to have to depend largely on saying something like "help wanted, help.. help..!" and it's pretty much left largely to chance of a skilled person in the area finding that request, and individually having the time to help out; if such groups were established, the resource pool would be greater, more effective in solving problems (with more than one person able to approach the problem at a time), and those leftist organizations desperate for help (as most are) would know where to turn to in order to approach a problem, at the very least for help in identifying and further defining whatever issue they might have.
Perhaps a better description would be some kind of specialized skill network.. does anything like this exist?? And if not.. are there any good reasons why they don't that I may have not considered?? It seems to me that such a network almost needs[ to be established if it isn't already..
