Africa is in bad shape lets admit it right now. Aids,Unstable goverments, famine, high crime,Dictatorships, mass killings, fueding religious groups.
What do we do? Because the UN peacekeeping isnt doing anything to affect change in africa. What could be some alternative options for help with africa?

It is also the mentality of the people there if we are to believe Che Guevara's diaries about the Congo Conflict, the African troops were too busy hanging with the prostitutes, drinking, gambling instead of disciplinary fighting. Remember these are not my words, but the words of Guevara.
Another problem is the borders of the countries: when the Europeans took over Africa, they went over it with straight lines creating the borders, splitting up tribes, putting tribes together in one nation, making the local situation very hostile.
Natural resources in the hands of westerners: Africa has very high amounts of gold and diamonts and many other valuable natural resources, however they are in the hands of the white people there or companies from Europe/US, which means the locals wont really see any profit from all those things, nationalize these good and companies perhaps?

I think the same words in Che's Congo diaries apply to South America as well as Africa. He said it about the Cubans best though
We have seen that the Cuban people are willing to die for the revolution, but we hav yet to see that they are willing to work for it
Dont get me wrong, im not saying that the African or South American ppl are lazy or incomptent, just looking at what Che said, and yes, i forget who said it, but you need to have a major industrial power for the Revolution to succeed.

Some things have changed over the following decades, though, including the expansion of the working class in many African countries. I'd guess the cultural/educational level is somewhat higher even in rural areas.
And some of those problems were the product of the rotten leadership of the Congolese revolutionary armies....leaders who didn't even bother to show up at the front, as Guevara explained.
Since then, Africa - one of its less developed countries, even, Burkina Faso - has proven capable of producing a revolutionary leader of the quality of Thomas Sankara...
(Also a pretty effective guerilla army in Guinea-Bissau).

Best hope for Africa is to
1. Shoot all the politicians.
2. Redraw the borders one by one or kill goto war and hope one side kills off the other side.
3. Kill all the foreigners(whities) off and then take back their industries back by nationalising the industries.
4. Time.

Africa seems to have followed the South American model; expect it is alot worse.
Just like South America; the free market has put the economy into the decline and increased poverty. South America has responded by left wing movements; like in Venezeula which is nationalizing the industry to workers' Socialism.
Again, even though Africa is similar; I would hesitate following the same left wing movement plan as South America. I'm guessing Africa is ALOT less developed than South America which would make no pretence for the development of successful Socialism, unlike some countries in South America that are rich in resources and developed to be exploited by First world capitalists (Not for long though!).
But, I will rather look at the facts about Africa first before making that a statement.

Africa has to be one of the most difficult situations in hte world to see any kind of remedy for. The fact that the borders were simply taked on, brutal dictatorships have been allowed to flourish and so many millions live in extreme poverty make for a horrible state of affairs.
In my mind the ultimate way for this to eventually be worked out is basically to allow it time. There is evidence that some nations, atleast there peoples, are atempting to move towards democracy and basically need time to do this. Also, I think one of the most important things to do is to increase anti-AIDS programs funding and stop funding the non-effective abstinance programs. However, still a pretty fucked up situation.
