Ok, approximatley 3500 people died on september 11th, 2001. Now, i understand having people die sucks, but what I dont get is, that thousands after thousands of people die from smoking, city pollution, murders, out of the 300000 gun deaths every year, only 300 are classified "justifiable homicide". wheres gun control? wheres restrictions on chemicals in tobacco? wheres the environemntal clean-up laws? these are a few of the problems that perplex me about americans. sure, a few people dies from the Saudis, so well attack Afghanistan and Iraq, and wate hundreds of billions of dollars, when we can spend less than 10 billion stopping millions of death in our domestic homeland. I mean, has money really corrupted men this much? Has the corporate landscape been pillaged by greedy, power-hungry men and the government? I think Americans need to open their eyes alot more, and yes, im sure you all know this, but the death tolls in sep11 and iraqi war ar eminute comapred to our domestic problems. ah.. ill shut up now.

Most deaths by guns are committed by people owning guns illegally.

It is the people's choice to smoke or not. I also feel like telling, that some of us communists actually beleive that all drugs should be legalized. Even stuff like cocaine or PCP.

I agree with you on the environment. We need to work on that.

What is wrong with Legalization?

It is the only way to get rid of this ridiculous drug war. You seem to base drug problems on the drugs.Which is wrong right there. Its like saying that blacks are bad because of black crime. While some people get into the darker side of drugs. Many others use responsibly and completely under control.Drug use is responsibility Drug use is Knowing yourself and knowing your substance. When you use drugs its a major responsibilty you take. By not controlling yourself you can end up addicted/dead.

I also like this statistic

U.S. deaths in Iraq: about 1500
Iraqi deaths is Iraq: 16171 to 18443 ( http://www.iraqbodycount.net/ )

That's about a 12:1 ratio of Iraqis to Americans

And those aren't even the insurgents!

WOAH! addictive free tobacco?!?! Please give me some information on this. I've been thinking about quitting recently, but I have a hard time not smoking when a) on a car ride and b)while drinking. But hmmm, addictive free tobacco sounds like it might be helpful.
