Greenspan to be knighted

I am just reading in the local newspaper that Alan Greenspan is going to be knighted by the Queen of England. This is absurd. First of all, knighthoods should be restricted to British citizens. Secondly, the guy is a dick.

I heard about this as well. That doesn't make any sense. Does anyone know more about the "knighthood" process? Like what you have to do to be eligible and what-not.

On a side note, Funny story. If he lowers interest rates another half-percent, my physics teacher is going to have negative interest on his car and house payments. Long story short he managed to scam the card company into giving him prime rate minus some amount. He's presently at like .3% and its dropping.
