Forget running for president and try something more practical, like running for mayor of your home town or some other local office. On a non-national level like that youd stand a real chance of getting your ideas across and build up a reputation as a populist before trying to seize the whitehouse. Besides, Congress would kill off most of your reforms if they could, youd need to take a mess of seats AND the presidency to have any real weight.

in my country a polititian did almost make it to become priminister without any fundings
he was kicked out his political party becuase the media kicked him to the ground as an extreme-right,other polititians where found of this and slandered the same ish
and one week before the voting our political news channel announced that this man called Pim Fortuin probably would be our new primininster. they calculated that he had almost 74% of the votes in my country. and he did this without money without commercials without proppaganda , just simply with his words.

a couple a days for the votingday he was murderd cold blooded in the middle of a park where all the press building are , where he just gave an intervieuw.
