Hello, my name is clearly david de la serna, and i have joined this forum to both expand my views and teach, i am a stong believer in Marxism, Communism, and like most people here, i have a wide knowledge of Che Guevara, Lenin, and Marx.. I first want to say hello to everyone, and i also want to begin with a comment soncerning some posts and Che-Lives.com..
Concerning the posts, i find that so far most of them that i have read are irrelevant and have no absolute pirpose but showing themselves to be stupid.. if you are ocming on to a post to tlak about marxism.. talk about it, dont talk on how you like chocolate or how you pretend to know who che is just becase you saw his face on a shirt and "it looked cool".. posers like these individuals are bring Che down and are a disgrace to all the actions and everything he stood for..
Secondly tell me if you agree, but doesn't it seem ironic that theres is a "Che-Lives" (Che Guevara) store in which they "Sell" Che merchandise... for money... profit... if you dont understand please respond or at least coment on tis.. because in my oppinion it seems quite ironic.

i agree with you, i find it fascinating that websites with "left" views will hold everything for some profit, but later cry about capitalism, etc while glorifying activists of the past.
che guevara has suddenly become nothing more than an icon and a fashion trend in our teenage generation.

Welcome, it's good to see someone who advocates Marxism to such a degree. Many of the message boards are directed towards promoting intelligent or relevant conversations (or in the instance of Opposing Ideologies, debates) about the far left. I've only found a few off beat threads, and most of these are relocated to Chit-Chat.

I myself also find this quite ironic, especially since i've seen numerous threads detracting the Che Apperal trend. However, this is not purely for profit and websites are not free (unfortunatly) and I am sure a majority of the money made is used to keep this site up and running as smoothly as it currently is. But, welcome, it's good to see a new face.

I agree with you and once again its nice to hear that it is not all like that but from what I have seen just roughly scrolling through the threads, i have seen so many of what seems to be pointless conversations, but if you are right than i will actually learn somethign and enjoy talking and commenting on this forum.
I also was commenting not just on the Websites but using the websites as a metaphor for the trend,.. i mean the stores andinternet stores,, that just shits on his actions and makes his revolutionary greatness, and life go down the toilet by selling these shirts,..

Hehe, don't worry, the site owner is an activist for Antifa. :)
We do get in alot of indepth conversations like if dialectics are crap or awesome, I learned alot from these forums. You did miss the capitalist invasion a few weeks ago though... :D

The "merchandising" is for running this site. Malte once said (about the google ads, if I'm not wrong):
"yea, I know it sucks, but I'm in need of funds for Che-Lives, and this is by far the easiest way to get them beside the t-shirt shop."

They sell that stuff, cause it pays for this site and it gets people to promote communism and che guevara's struggle at the same time.

Interesting. Anyway welcome.
And no, we don't live in Communism. We have to pay for the server, it costs a lot of money. The Ads, shirts and donations are barely enough.

Once again.. i highly doubt the t-shirt store "barely pays" for the site.. it costs like 2 dollars cdn.. and still aside from costs.. could you not find other methods of keeping a website up besides exploiting che? There are many alternative methods..

How is this exploiting Che?
The profits of his T-shirt aid in the cause that he fought for.
