I'd say the nazis. They aren't dependent on government and people don't like neonazis very much but still love government.

I'd agree with destroying the nazi's first. They are often much worse than the governments and the people often trully hate them. Plus, I really don't see any reason what so ever for their existance.

I doubt the destruction of Nazism could come about at the moment, but it could happen as a result of revolution, which would also be targeting the government.

Seeing that .05% of the population takes us seriously, I'd imagine that Nazis receive less of a percentage so why bother with them? They will never get any power anytime soon.

Sadly, this is true. Our voices are rarely heard and our claims aren't taken seriously. Look at the CP interview on "The Daily Show" and you'll see about how serious the communist organisation is taken.

It isn't.

And for anarchists it's even worse. The names affiliated with our movements have lost their power; but to change our name would be to disillusion ourselves to the fullest. What is needed is an image revamp, as well as a assessment of just who we wish to affiliate ourselves with, and why.

The left is severely shattered. We will never reach a consesus, what we need is an agreement. We need to stop widdling our numbers based on name or philisophical theory.

If you're a person who believes the capitalist system is on a one way trip down the shitter and you believe we can attain a better life through altruism, then you're a comrade of mine.

You're correct. If you have an institution take the Nazi's out as a whole, you may find there to be international backlash. You'd be amazed the groups of people who will support the free-speech for these bigots.

But the disdain for them is growing greater every day. With Prince Will's little escapade, we see exactly how the masses, if not the politicians, view the swastika.

In time, their movement will simply collapse; without a bang, just a wimper.

Though I'd love to see a tank roll over a Nazi training ground in Montana, there may be serious reprocussions to our movement for wiping out an entire group of people.

I don't think that there are many nazis in the world. They really don't pose a threat. We need to get rid of the state first. We can't just kill every nazi that would almost be genocide. I don't care about their political belief as long as they don't use it to oppress others. If they start oppressing others, then we can take care of them, but until then we should focus on getting rid of the state and capitalism.

As a socialist myself, I potential see danger in destroying the state.

Even talking about the Nazis and targeting them only puts their ideology in the limelight which will create more Nazis and Nazi-supporters. The best thing to do would be to simply ignore Nazism and expose it for what it is when someone else brings up the topic.

As for the state, we should evolve out of the state. Not violently suppress it or destroy it. Push for social reform and remove government ties with some of it's less worthy projects (such as the military, subsidization, tarriffs, other methods of economicly bullying the 3rd world, denying personal freedoms, ect), while localizing and giving public control of the more favourable aspects of government (welfare, healthcare {if you live in Canada}, education centers, ect).

Attacking the state is only required when it stands in defiance of public opinion or public control. Picking your battles is key.

Which leads me back to my original point. Corperations and other capitalist organizations need to be the main target. Worker take-over of factories and beating the capitalists at their own game is the first step at defeating capitalism. Dismantling corperations that exploit the 3rd world and profit from corruption and war is the true struggle between worker control and Capitalist control. They are the foundation of modern Capitalism.


But of course, before any of this can happen, education and public acceptance of the ideals of worker control must be take place. The image of Anarchism or even Communism must be viewed in a new light and not hidden under a blanket of social taboo.
