on radio 4 i think it was (i have no idea), in the Uk there was an hour and a half dedicated to discussing cannabis and it's legalisation. There was also a phone in vote that was defeated by 54% but i think this is becasue the people more likely to listen to the program would be of that opinion. I think that one day it will probably be legal but not for a while. the problem with legalisation is that the government will control it so for some people it may be harder to get hold of in a way, and the government will certainly put taxes on it. Of course there will probably continue to have a black market dealing in weed. We'll see what happens, what do you guys think?

I don't know if it's all the UK, but here in Scotland the police can't arrest you for smoking or possession of weed.

To be honest, the local police here never really bothered about smoking weed. They just took it from you if you were caught with any. No one ever got lifted of charged. I think it's too common now to arrest everyone.

LEGALIZE! There's absolutely no excuse for the government to fine people, much less arrest them, for smoking marijuana or using any other substance. Weed's harmless anyway. The US Gov just wants to protect the trade for themselves.
