Yeah, the US did many atrocious things in South Korea. But the South Koreans were just as bad.
The US ordered their fighters to strafe refugees groups because they were worried about NKorean spies. However this does not justify the killing of so many innocent people in the process. They also leveled almost every town/city in North Korea with bombs. They may have used biological weapons too.
As you know, alot of territories switched hands back and forth. The people who temporarily cooperated with the NKoreans to get things like food and supplies were often tortured then executed. Im sure alot of innocent people died because its not a court process. People were tortured into confessing that they were communist. Kinda like Iraq.
