I wonder.
If most people only think of theirselves, it is kind of logical that they vote for right-wing parties.
So if u want to create a place, country or world where everybody is equal and where communism reigns, a dictatorship without democratic voting is necessary, not?

Of coarse a democratic system a working system,...but,
The question is if the democratic system is working. In my opinion is not.
We don't really live in a democratic society but in a society represented by different Governments that people agreed with their general politics. This means that politics will take decisions based in what they think and not based on the people.
A Democratic system would mean that the people would have the oportunity to participate in the decision making. Today this is possible due to Internet. Through Internet people could manifest their agreement or not for a specific political thema. Then politics would have to take that opinion into account.
Although I admit to understand that today is quite difficult to achieve such a system where the people will have a more participative role. Due to Globalization the different States must work in a much more Interdependent way. Decision making in Europe must take into account decision making in Asia and so on. This makes it more difficult for people to be part of a real democracy.
Also I belive that since we cross a time of deep changes, where the process of Globalization has been extremly accelarated, the way for participation of the people in democracy must also change. In a Global World the protest and the demand of the society must also be Global. Slowly we must think as Humans and not as Portuguese or Spanish, Black, White or Yellow.
As you say, "If most people only think on themselfs, it is kind of logical that they vote for right-wing parties." It can be logical but not so easy to understand.
With the people feeling that they choice is not so important anymore we take the risk that different Cultures will have the feeling to protect themselfs. This can increase a Nationalist feeling.
Why? Mainly because it's still difficult for many to understand that all the decisions, all politics is not being made for a specific place or country but according to the Global situation.
About your last question I must say that voting is always something necessary, and there is nothing more to say about it. Otherwise, who would be in charge? And why? Which person has the right to be the leader indefenitely?
Democracy are the people. Shout together, they will have to listen.

k, you say that the people should decide for everything
but my point is, that most of the people dont know what is best for them
too many people just listen to what is sais to them without trying to find a better, more apt solution
k, its a working system, but is it the best system
and is it the best for everybody
also a huuuuuuuuuge problem is, that people arent interested in politics
becouse most of the people dont want to decide theirselves, but want someone who decides for them
and thats what they vote for
they think that the one they voted for will do what is best for them

you can't decide for other people what is good for them. if most of the people do not believe in socialism or communism you can't decide that this is the best thing for them, and create a dictatorship. in a democracy, the government represents the interests of the people. if people want a capitalist economy, they will vote for a party that supports that. if most of the people want a capitalist economy, that party will win, and you will have a capitalist economy. if people want a totally planned economy, they will probably vote for a communist party, that will win if it gets the majority of the votes. the people should decide for themselves, and not have a dictator that will decide for them like they're little children.
