well, This woman I know has recently developed pain in her breast and there is a little knob in her breast aswell. Does this mean that she has cancer or is it a cyst? :(

Not sure, but a visit to a doctor should be a priority.

indeed. I told her that already and she said she would but im worried :(

Don't worry, but get her to the doctor right away. It very well may be a growth maybe just a mutation at this point, but early intervention may be the key. If it just started she should be okay, but when people wait a while is when they get into trouble.

The best thing for her to do right now is to get a mammogram.
