The CIA trained Cuban exiles in military training, put them in un-marked navy boats, and sent them to invade Cuba........they failed...they got fucked over....i know this was very brief, sorry...why dont you google it? you'll get everything you need..

Basically, in January 1. 1959, the Cuban Rebel Army won after fighting the Batista army through guerilla warfare for several years, and they established the revolutionary government we know today. The Cuban government nationalized major business in Cuba, and the bourgoisie (aka the rich guys) fled the Island.

Prior to the start of the operation, CIA operatives were sent to Cuba. Their job was to aid the invading forces by blowing up key bridges and performing other acts of terrorism that would make it appear that the people of Cuba were joining the invasion.

And so, on April 17, 1961, some 1,500 exile Cubans, trained by the CIA, invaded the tiny Island.


Themen of the invasion force had once owned between them a million acres of land, 10,000 houses, 70 factories, five mines, two banks and ten sugar mills. 200 of them had been soldiers in the bourgeoisie Army, 14 of those were wanted for murder in Cuba.



It was, litterally, a struggle between the rich and the poor, between 'the haves' and 'the have nots'. Class struggle at it's purest.

Thanks guys. i got a book the other day on it and read it. Man Kennedy was a fucking idiot. Just because somebody gets shot doesn't mean they should be idolized. I really am against him after i read that book. I couldn't beleive they would leave the cuban refugee fighters in there, with no ammo or guns. proves that america does not give a shit about anyone else except its own self interests.
