Those sound cool. I may look into some of that stuff.

After watching The Life Aquatic and listening to the soundtrack (one of the albums I've been listenng to lately as well), I was isnpired to get some music by Seu Jorge. If you don't know, Seu Jorge played David Bowie songs in Portuguese accompanied with his own amazing acoustic guitar renditions throught the film. His solo album, Carolina, is amazing also. Highly recomended.

Also New 94 Casa Babylon by La Mano Negra is really cool.

I also bought Recipe for Hate by Bad Religion. It's pretty good, though I deffinitely preffer straight up punk.

That's all I've gotten since Christmas. So I've been listening to those a lot as well as the dozens of discs taht I got for Christmas.

Oh how fun I like Social Distortion too! Is that the new cd with the California song? I wanna go cd shopping before I go on my trip to northern cali and I may get the new one (how sad I don't even know what it's called!) or Destiny's Child, or The Clash. I'm a freak.

I've been playing Bad Religion non stop (The empire strikes first). I have Electric dreams on repeat. And Disc three from my "left of the dial" boxed set. To hell with poverty!

Queensryche Operation:Mindcrime

Opeth: Orchid fantastic album...

Why don't you name the thread "What was the last album you bought?"?I think it'd work better.

Why don't you make your own thread "What was the last album you bought?"?I think it'd work better.

I've been listening to that Social Distortion CD as well. That acoustic song makes me all sad though.

Ian, INDK sucks.

As far as "new" stuff well.....

I got half of the new unreleased Against Me! album off Soulseek, that's really good. Aside from that I've been listening to old stuff, Cocksparrer's "Shock Troops", The Maytones "Boat to Zion" and the Clash's "Sandinista".

You don't just disrespect my opinion when you say INDK suck, you disrespect me personally, and any disrespect to Ian is directly disrespecting Revolutionary Left and Che-Lives.

Also if INDK suck, then suck is the thing to be.

AM!'s new stuff is good, but sooo 3 months ago mannnn, using my scene connection (my friend Jessie who talked to the dude who books everything) I heard AM! are doing a dozen shows in Australia in March/April... which could actually be true, they enjoyed it a lot

HA !

I actually only heard them like 3 months ago. I expected to like them since I like Choking Victim/Leftover Crack, but the few songs I listened to were kind of boring.

Ian, are you talking about the same Against Me album that I am ? Not "As the Eternal Cowboy", it's some new shit that isn't released yet.

As far as scene connections go, I don't have any, but Tom from Against Me has hit on (and been shut down by) my ex girlfriend TWICE, right in front of my face no less !
