I just read the craziest thing. Im sure alot of you are familiar with the K-Mart stores in the states, and if your not ill share the story. Apparently the large chain of department stores recently pulled itself out of near bankruptcy. After taking a huge blow in sales, the board elected a new CEO and Chairman, and he did the most genious thing. He sold nearly half of the k-mart stores (just the buildings) in the country to Sears, and he accumulated enough money from these sales to actually BUY THE SEARS CORPORATION. I'm not sure how but i think you can apply this same method to other things to a revolutionary advantage, im just having trouble thinking how, any ideas...any help?

Happens all the time, actually. Modern corporate deals are a labyrinth of complexities.

I can't see much in it for us...you still need billions of dollars to sit down at that "poker table".

What are you actually suggesting? Is it that we could use capitalism to get us the funding for a revolution to overthrow capitalism? Do realise that to do that you would need to exploit others?
Or are you saying that we use capitalism to monopolise the system and take it over that way by paying for it? Why not just take it?

In a way this makes sense to me, because I see the only path to revolution is to push the system further and encourage it to be as nasty as possible until it falls over of its own accord. It seems to me comrade necro's plan follows this line of thinking, but ignores the fact that we have anti-trust laws and so forth that would prevent this from really triggering the revolution, but it would definately help us quite a ways along.

I was just playin but seroiusly it works, look at Bush in the whitehouse, hes there for other reasons then he told the people, how else would he pull of the shit hes pulling off? If somehow we could get pro-socialist people in high places then it would be easier to start a revolution. Think of all the tools youd have.
