My First Image

[Paradox]

This is my first attempt at using GIMP. It's nothing fancy, but what do you guys think? Also I want to see some of other members' creations. So if anyone here uses GIMP to make images, could you please post them? I'm eager to see what GIMP is capable of. Thanks. (text in the image came out blurred, don't know why)

Here's number two. GIMP is pretty cool, but I'm still having trouble figuring out animations. The tutorial at their website didn't really help, the one on simple animations. Can someone give an explanation on animations? Also, when changing the background on photos, can you only do that with pictures that have stark contrast? For example, could I isolate a specific person in a black and white photo?
