Actually that article is interesting. I liked the first part where it talked about their reforms. a co-operative farm is more socialist than a state owned farm. Both are pretty socialist though except in Castro's government where i dont think people have enough say.

The cuban people are obviously very motivated running productive companies (or whatever you want to call them) and are highly educated.

I hope their country gets socialist capitalism or something when castro dies. i hope they continue to educate their people and provide them with health car.e

yeah I think the idea of Co-op's are very good,we have a few large ones here in ireland & they have a very positive effect.
