Just found a different article on the other side of the Atlantic.
Not much to it, but you can't expect an American to put forth any real effort, can you?

Exploited Class

Today's office has replaced the 1990s workout gym and the 1980s singles bar as a place to meet new people, said James Pedderson, Challenger's director of public relations.
Just say it, just give us the word oh masters and we all shall just move into our cubes and live there 24/7.
This brings many things to mind. 1. Obviously the ruling class is winning in ways that is sad, we spend so much time at work now we date out of the office. WONDERFUL.
Second, I think a lot of married couples not working together, just got a little bit jealous and perhaps worried about their relationship.
Third, single people who don't date out of the office are getting very screwed over by this new trend.
Personally, I have only had disasters and known of disasters when it came to office romance from people, not just superior to subordinate, but peers. 44% of those that dated from the office got married? I can't wait to see the divorce rate of those people to see if they are a success "when compared to other traditional dating and mating rituals within society", or a failure. It will be interesting to say the least, to me at least. I vote for failure.

Where I work, two couples have formed really well. One couple is now engaged to be married this Summer, the other are expecting a baby in June, and are planning on getting engaged at the end of the year.
It is understandable that romances will develop in the workplace, since the workers spend so much time together they will undoubtably form strong bonds if they click, although by the same token, strong enmities if they dont.
