I have a friend who is obsessed with the Marines and try's to get everyone to join. Anyhow he told the Marines that I was qualified and now they wont stop bugging me. They went as far as to send one of their cronies TO MY HOUSE. Now that fucking pissed me off.

Sorry to hear that El Brujo. It surely says something that they are forced to go door to door to recruit like some Jehovah's Witness group. Why don't more people come running to their promises of growth, travel, and adventure? Because most know they're full of shit. I feel truly sad for those sucked into their lies because of their promises of money or advancement. Let's just say I think they prey on the poor to go fight America's excuseless wars for them.

They have a habit of hitting certain areas, sometimes from a tip-off (as in this case, it appears), other times (probably more often than not) because an area might be a ghetto so the kids will have grown up rough and the transition into becoming a Marine isn't as "dramatic" per se.

the one thing that i hate most about the marines is that flag!!!!!!!!!! it sickens me. theres a guy in my neighborhood who has it flying everyday. PLUS he has a bumper sticker and the flag painted on his door. It's way too overdone
