Anarchism in Action - The Spanish Civil War (http://flag.blackened.net/revolt/spain/pam_intro.html)
This is a pamphlet published by the Workers Solidarity Movement. It is by a guy called Eddie Conlon. It is extremly good and very critical of the CNT which is good in terms of drawing lessons from what happened.

Im my Politics class we watched a film called "Land of Liberty"...well something along those lines. We watched the film because were currently studing Anarchism. Anyway in this seen, the communists and Anarchists had just taken over a village and they were in like meeting/forum, and they discussed how the land would be collectivised. It was really intresting, becuase it showed how anarchists would work things out. The film also gave some people a clear view of what Anarchists belive and want. :P
Anway the film was about the Spanish civil war

It's a Ken Loach film. It's a good film, only a little bias towards the trots as far as I remember.

Homage to Catalonia by Orwell is a brilliant account of the Spanish Civil War. He fought for a communist militia, so it only touches on the anarchists, but there is still some interesting kernels to be gleaned, and it is a good book in and of itself

"Libertarias!" is a really hip film about a female anarchist militia in the Spanish Civil War. Highly recomended.
You'll cry.
