tori amos, tricky, portishead, underworld (oh my)

Tori Amos is fucking amazing.

Tricky is the creepiest sounding rapper in the world.. though his recent stuff is a bit poppified. He's still damned good though.

Portishead.. rocks. Hands down. Although people usually don't apply "rocks" to such music. I do.

Underworld.. decent, if you're in the mood.

"Dummy". Was an album that deeply touched me at a time when I was "lost" in the dark haze. It's melacholy was just the tonic for LSD induced psychosis.
Pre-millenial tension so to speak. Sadly or perhaps gladly that whole Bristol thing went mainstream with Moloko, Dido (shudder) etc.. And as a consequence dissapeared up it's own ringpiece

We prefer more jaunty numbers by cheery beat combo's now that we're out of that particular malaise.
