Hi all, very happy that I managed to find this place. My name is Dave and I live in Adelaide, Australia. Um.... I am 17 and have been a communist/socialist depending on when you asked me really since I've been able to think about these things. My father was a member of the communist party (now works for a senator) so he passed on his politics to me, as did my mother. Anyway, gald to be here and see so many relatively like minded people since I don't actually know a huge amount considering where I live and go to school. Cheers.

So, the ALP still has skeletons in it's cupboards. ;-p Not that I'm convinced that "Socialist Left" means too much to the ALP these days. I (maybe) think I know who your dad is, I certainly know who Kim Carr is.
Welcome anyhow, comrade. I'm a member of Resistance and the Socialist Alliance, but in Sydney. I can't say I've ever been to Adelaide, but us East-Coasters prolly wouldn't fit in there too well anyway.
Have you been to any actions, or are you just interested in the politics so far?
