On the news it said that in calafornia they have passed a law that cars have to do something can't rember tax or smaller or something someone will tell me know doubt but this could embarace bush into action?

This is a step in the right direction, however these measures to lower emissions will not take effect until 2009.

All this environmental posturing seems too little, too late for me. But it's better than nothing I suppose.

I agree. But if there was a Socialist or Communist government began that had the same inept environmental premise I would resist with all my heart and soul. It would still be flawed, industrial overproduction and resource exhaustion we see now. Which is why we on the Left must take Environmentalism as much to heart as anything else.

Personally I am hoping that that "segway" thing takes off. those things are 100% enviormental friendly.

Its more important to me that i am an enviornmentalist than that i am a marxist. cause like we need to have clean air to breath cause no one can benefit from social justice if they're not alive.
