I was just curious, as I have said in earlier postings that this theory has grabbed my attention. SO I just had two questions:
1. Is there a symbol for this ideology?
2. Is there any threads relating to this on here?
3. And if number three is no, any good books or articles? I have the IWW site bookmarked, but I was wondering if there is any others.

Thanks

I think Anarcho Syndaclism, is some form of Revolutionary Trade Unionism. Im sure it was thought up by George Sorel? I aint sure.

Its kind of a "Invisible hand" used by the working class to threaten the Bourgoise. Im not sure on this either. Im a bit sketchy with Anarchism. I think i should go to the Library and pick up a few Anarchist book, becuase Anarchism sounds like an Intresting Ideology.

This is an excellent short article on Anarcho-Syndicalism.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarcho-syndicalism

The famous red/black flag is the symbol of anarcho-syndicalism. It symbolizes the unification of socialism (red) and anarchism (black) into a single ideology.

This has also become an anarcho-syndicalist symbol for some reason. I have no idea why?

One would think "Wild Cat strikes". Maybe, because of the unpredictable nature of syndicalist strikes in the US.

And that picture is strictly for anarcho-syndicalism? It has no other ideologies using it?

It does seem kind of bizarre for a anarchist symbol  .

Is that a inference? Or a fact? It's a good thought either way.

The cat's slump kind of looks like an 'A' I guess too.

That's a very crappy version...

It's called the sabot-kitty, which stands for sabotage. It represents wild-cat strikes, as well as other radical actions by workers. Symbolizing that workers should stop at nothing to get what is rightfully theirs, and that bosses should always be in fear of the union. Look at that cat, angry, ready to pounce.

Notice the arch of it's back with it's legs looks like an A, and the surrounding circle...

For the "A", somehow, I think that's reading into it too much.

Notice the placement of the head and tail though. It kind of looks like the alanted 'A' in the Anarchist symbol. The circle around it has a lot to put that idea in one's head too.
