The Anarchists in the Spanish Revolution put anarcho-communism successfuly into practice in both rural and industrial areas. As for Marxist communism, I can't say exactly.

So after the Spanish Revolution, were the people happy? Did they live productive lives, and not poor, poverty stricken ones?

not after, sicne they were crushed by three opposing armies: the communists, republicans, and fascists. But during the 3 years that it was being successfully practiced (during a civil war, mind you), production was way up, people were happy, and the sexes were greatly intergrated.

So can we say, then, that Communism didn't really work by the Spanish Revolution?

Again, I don';t know about MARXIST communism, becuase I haven't read anything on it during the Spanish Revolution. But ANARCHIST communism worked successfully until crushed.

So you're saying it worked until it failed. Am I getting this right? You're saying something worked...until it didn't?

the "communists" you speak of were actually Stalinists. Moscow had her own plans for the fate of the Spainards.
However, I think that the Marxist P.O.U.M. may have stood and fought with the anarchist armies during several conflicts.
Don't confuse corrupt imperialist political organs with overall idealogy.

That's true, I forgot about that.

It wasn't a flaw in the anarchist theory that made it fail. It was the fact that they were fighting three armies and one of them was backed up by Hitler and Mussolini.

anarcho communism has never been practiced.
by the way, a marxist is a person that feel that there should be a transition point between capitalism and communism .this transition piont is call socialism.
anarchist feel that a trasition point is not needed
and another thing communism is a stateless society .
Spain had a state during the revolution it was call a republic, this mean that it never had a communist society
