View Full Version : I'm a communist

Yep, I'm a communist. I believe in Marxism. I'm against the evil capitalists. I wear those Che Guerra shirts. Not that I ever been to a communist country. North Korea, that place is heaven. All those people you see on boats are really Americans trying to get to Cuba. Its just the evil American capitalists using their media to lie to us. You can't believe America. All their media is not ran by the state. What the hell is up with that? Ifs it not state-owned its all lies. Also, all that stuff about the killing in communist countries is just lies. No one ever died in a communist country. The standard of living in communist countries is so high that people live to be a million. The day the soviet union fell millions of people died because they were no longer communist. All the great stuff that happened in capitalist countries really happened in communist countries. The Wright brothers never fly a plane, its was lenin. Lenin flew a plane when he was a baby. Thats how smart he was. Those millions of people who died in Cambodia were really killed by Americans and the evil capitalists. Americans never landed on the moon also. It was Stalin who really landed on the moon. He took Lenin's plane and made some upgrades and flew to moon all by himself. Lets talk about Castro now. What a great man. He has done some bad things like killing dissidents, but everybody has free healthcare. Free healthcare means more then freedom of speech. People die everyday(except in communist countries)who cares if Castro kills a few here and there.
Let me tell you all alittle about myself. I live in America(probably like alot of you). I've never been to a communist country(probably like alot of you). I enjoy the benefits of capitalism(probably like alot of you). I enjoy living in a free country(probably like alot of you). I know whats its like to have free speech(like you all on this website). I know what its like to have freedom of religion(i'm a Jedi BTW). I could get a job today if I chose(even if it is flipping burgers, I have done that too. I always put that I worked at Burgerking when i was 16 on my applications, I wear it like a badge of honor. It was a stepping stone to bigger and better things.)
But I chosen to give this all up to go live in a communist utopia. So every aspect of my life is ran by the government. Where this is no escape and a difference in opinion means death.
See you all in North Korea.

Are you claiming that North Korea is a communist contry because its clearly not!
Theres a strong state system within that country so it's a contradiction to call it communist.
Oh yeh stop bullshitting

You can't leave America right now? You can't get on a plane and go somewhere else?
We have freedom of speech in this country. If we didn't this website and you would be silenced. You are proof that we have freedom of speech. Ward Churchill is proof that we have freedom fo speech. Michael Moore is proof that we have freedom of speech.

By the way you are talking enemy I would say your happy with the world the way it is. I would really like to know your views on capitalism and socialism (not to be confused with communism). Freedom of speech alone does not ensure a fair society, in fact far from it. Freedom of speech is good of course but in a corrupt society it represents only the views of the rich. Only the rich can reach the masses with thier thoughts, publication costs money. And this is one way in which they control weaker minded (as they have been taught to be by the captalist system) people into keeping what is good for the rich only. This is also shows a problem with democracy that must be overcome by passing relevant anticorruption laws for government. It would be much fairer if each party had the same amount of money to spend on advertising and even then that be tightly controlled. Politics should be taught deeply at a young age to ensure a wise voting roll. With this and more in depth policies I logically reason that democracy would work far more fairly and less corruptly and would eventually lead to a socialist society. Please feel free to point out errors in this to me and give me additional info on this subject.

And ps enemy, it sounds like you really dont know much about socialist theory. i agrree with you that examples of socialism put into practice today are evil, but they are not truly socialist countries. The only country ever to be near to socialism was cuba at the time of che, but now it has become corrupt and not socialist partiallydue to tourism bringing capitalism and because of failures in cubas policies today and economic sanctions. what we need is more che's.

Right, enemy, why don't you go to neocon.com or some other site that shares your view point. If you'd like to argue, do it in the designated areas. In response to your arguement of free speech, Cuba is a third world country not propped up by the U.S., on the other hand, Saudi Arabia is propped up by the US, one of their biggest allies. Police there fire live rounds into peaceful demonstrations. Free speech is an issue in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Pakistan, Columbia, and countless others propped up by the US. Don't forget america's murder squads killed 40,000 El Salvadorans because they opposed the capitalist ideal.

Sigh,
An other brainwashed American who has the bullshit definition of Communism. Seriously, read some Marx before you come here and start spewing your ignorance here.
Bascially put, Communism is Anarchism, there is no state in Communism. :)
I get tired always ramming this into people's heads, but, unfortunately your arguements are crap.
Cuba has worker's democracy and freedom of speach as well as having the best education system in the world, it is not a dictatorship.
North Korea is Stalinist, state capitalist as well.
Stalin was an asshole; I don't agree with many of Lenin's ideology; Marxist-Leninism either.
The Capitalist media tells half truths and often completely ignores other stories all the time. They twisted the sitiuation in Venezuela attempting to show Chavez as an evil dictator when the coup (which they showed as a popular uprising, despite that the people sided with the government!) attempted to overthrow him in 2001. The coup was supported by American companies as well.
The only reason why they want Chavez out is because he nationalized the oil industry; the profits from it is given to giving hope to the people, free healthcare and many reforms; instead of being pocketed by a few rich American capitalists in Miami.
What a great man. He has done some bad things like killing dissidents, but everybody has free healthcare. Free healthcare means more then freedom of speech. People die everyday(except in communist countries)who cares if Castro kills a few here and there.
He has killed counter-revolutionaries.
There are 20 million homeless children in the world, not one of them is in Cuba.
Thousands of people die in the third world everyday because of Capitalism and Imperialism.
Communist Perspective:
I do live in America, and hate living here, racism, consumerism, ignorance and income disparity attribute to this.
I have never been to a Communist country; because one has never existed. I have been though, and lived in, a Social Democractic country. I do not enjoy the benefits of capitalism knowing that the products I enjoy are made by starving, underpaid and abused workers in the third world.
I do not enjoy the freedom of speach, because, like many other leftists, it is taken away or even suppressed when we attempt to change something. (Take for example the IWW)
I could not get any job I choose since I first have to go to college, and my family cannot afford to send me to a good college meaning I am at a disadvantage to more privledged kids.
I also do not enjoy working much in a capitalist economy; since I am a wage slave,
I am paid a mere fraction of the capital made from my labor; and that wage is just enough to keep me alive, never letting me advance to better things.
I would rather work in the joy of labor than in the slavery of some capitalist.

This is my first, last, and only reply to this message.
1. This post was posted for no other reason then to attack the members of this website. It was not posted to show an article, voice an opinion, etc.
2. This should have been posted in the "Opposing Ideologies" forum.
It would be very facist to say that a post like this couldn't be posted.
It should have, however, been posted in the proper location.
If any posts are allowed everywhere, we would soon find the site over-run by rightwingests (the ones who wish to pick an argument) who wish only to drown out this site (one of a handhul of left-wingest havens)
3. Why has this topic been replyed to, or even looked at more then once per person?
Just ignore it.
The poster wanted to get a reaction; they wanted to start an argument (not an intelligent debate about an issue, but rather a pointless contridiction, one where each party knows each other party is not about to change stance)
4. I, for one, shall boycott this post (I really didn't want to even post this. . .the only reason I do now is to declare my boycott)
I shall not ever post again in response to this thread, nor shall I even read a single new post on this thread.
It is dead to me

As I have no idea what communism is, you have idea what capitalism is.
Actually I do, thanks to reading alot of Marxist literature, such as "Das Kapital: A Critque of the Political Economy"; one of the cornerstones to understanding Marxist/Communist ideology. Such things as "Labor aristrocracy", "Imperialism" and the "Modes of Overproduction" were works of Marxist economic theory.
I don't believe in having any social programs. America has many.
Many which are pretty pitiful compared to countries like Cuba, Sweden, Finland and Norway.
Three of those countries are rated higher on "the most diserable to live in" and are less corrupt and have higher rates of public education than the US. All three are Social Democracies as well.
We do elect individuals they just happen to belong to political parties.
Who do you think have more infulence in America? The giant corporations or the people?
We are a constitutional Republic
Falls into the "Dictatorship of the Burgeoise" as the rest of capitalist nations to us Marxists.

Is that all you have read? Have you ever read "The Wealth of Nation" by Adam Smith or something by Ayn Rand. Maybe you should get another view point that isn't Karl Marx or a marxist. I look forward to reading those books. I choose to listen to all view points not just one who supports my ideas.
Many which are pretty pitiful compared to countries like Cuba, Sweden, Finland and Norway.
Three of those countries are rated higher on "the most diserable to live in" and are less corrupt and have higher rates of public education than the US. All three are Social Democracies as well.
The more social programs you have the less economic freedom you have. Cuba does have social programs unless you're black. They are second class citizens in Cuba. Sweden, Finland, and Norway are much different then America and face different problems. Its alot easier to provide for everybody when they don't have to protect themselves from the outside world. They can thank America for that
Who do you think have more infulence in America? The giant corporations or the people?
The people vote our leaders into power. Corporations have no power to elect leaders.
Our elected leaders might get money from corporations for favorable legislation, but that is the people fault for elected those leaders.
Falls into the "Dictatorship of the Burgeoise" as the rest of capitalist nations to us Marxists.
There is nothing keeping you here. You could leave anytime nothing is keeping you here. I hear Cuba is nice this time of year.

People are only posting to try and show this guy what it is to be a communist and give him a broader mind over politics maybe even sway him to the notion of becoming one himself. Why would you be against that? but since your not going to reply i doubt you care.
Anything is possible. Try and convert me to your red army. I have an open mind and will listen to all view points. Good Luck.

I don't know if it can be considered to be "privately owned". It's still irrelevant. It's just a leftist forum on a capitalist society. No, I don't really believe in property rights, but we live in a capitalist society, therefore if you decide to take over my home I won't let you. Period!
And as I said, it's NOT a country. It's just a leftist forum. And as such nobody here will allow a cappie to try using it as he wants.

Why is it that all these leftest sites ban people?
I think it is because you have nothing to back up what you say.
No examples of communism working like you say on a national level.
So you ban people with opposing views.
No, its because we find it disturbing/offensive that someone can agree with Capitalism.
And im sure a right wing site would do the same to leftists.

Bascially put, Communism is Anarchism, there is no state in Communism.
We hate anarchism too. Anarchism is the totalitarian rule of the majority.

Yes. There is.
No there isn't.
Cuba has the highest percentage of people in jail of any country in the world.
Most of them are in jail for political "crimes" like complaining about starving.
