Maybe there is only two C's? But, I am just confused. I asked a kid who had a C.C.C.P. shirt on...And he said it meant the U.S.S.R.....I then gave the confused face to him. And, he couldn't really explain any more. Can you help?

IE, it's the Russian Cyrillic acronym for the USSR.

Maybe my question is misunderstood...Or maybe I'm misunderstanding. Soyuz Sovetskikh Sotsialisticheskikh Respublik does not abriviate C.C.C.P.!!!!!! Right? The abriviation is SSSR...Unless Russia's S's are English C's...And Russia's R's are English P's. All I need is a damn abreviation for CCCP....Not SSSR. And if you say they are the same thing...How is that so!?

the russian S is written as a C and the R as a P, thus written CCCP but pronounced as SSSR. Hope that makes sense.
