Has anyone seen this new show on FOX called The Pulse? It's the most ridiculous thing ever. First they let Geraldo do investigative journalism about how terrorists can attack the U$ (basically giving them ideas) or how terrorists are getting people into the country (more ideas for them there too) Next they have stupid polls like "would you rather be rich or good looking" (the majority picked rich, by the way) And if this wasnt all enough for FOX, they give that pompous windbag bill o'riley TWO segments, one in which to shout at people he disagrees with and call it a debate, the next to tell us who is annoying him (today it was michael jackson, who i agree is a complete ass, but i dont think he needs a national platform to vent about fools like Allen Iverson or how he disagrees with the HIV+ muppet- he really put both feet in his mouth there) Can't we for once have at least one news show that isnt a complete joke? You would think that after Politically Incorrect left, someone would fill the void. But no, all we get is another outlet for right wing propaganda and a chance for those without cable to be exposed to the crap that is bill o'riley. Good grief

I must admit the show didn't meet my expectations although I watch O'Reilly almost every night.

The network news shows are unbearable, not because they are watered down leftism, but because they are just crappy journalism. It's sensational tabloid stuff all the time. Fox may be on the right, but I think they hold themselves to a higher standard than newtork news or CNN for having a rational source for what they report.

i hadnt seen it until they had an interview "with the most hated man in the us" because hes trying to change the cinstituition and it pissed me off so bad because i actually was wanting to hear him defend himself all they showed was that stupid guy trying to sound smart and just putting words in his mouth anywho and the other report was on muslims crossing the border i live on a border city and the way i see it i see people crossing the border everyday they think there so smart they wouldnt have people sneaking in right under their noses which happens every single day their just either too stupid to care or notice it anywho i gues my point from this ranting is fox is trying really hard to get the ratings but that is one show that i just cant stand

Bloody Fox news pisses me off, all the people give thier opinions on what is going on e.g "castro has had a circus going on down there" . At least CNN usually gets the facts right and never gives an opinion.

I haven't watched it. It doesn't seem like it's getting good reviews, not that I pay attention to reviews anyway, if it sucks I'll find out for myself I guess.

Um, CNN doesn't always get the facts right and almost always gives an opinion. CNN is a corporate function as is FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc. They are the purveyors of the corporate dictatorship we find ourselves in. When will somebody like Noam Chomsky or Gore Vidal make it to one of these crap TV shows? The answer: Never.

The networks are controlled by the corporate and therefore we never truly have freedom of the press.
