View Full Version : Photographing Demonstraters - That's right
In Worcester, MA it has become police policy to photograph and log pictures of peacful, lawful demostraters. This practice was recently questioned by the ACLU but upheld.
Do they do this in any other cities? Isn't this a huge violation of civil liberties?

well i'm sure this goes on everywhere.
that's why we must wear masks or bandanas when going to protests.
when i went to the WEF protests at New York I wore a mask.

The police (or the more accurate name of "fascist bigoted scum") over here have been taking picutres of people at peaceful protests for years. I've had my picture taken a few times.
I remember once that my dad's car was pulled over at a road block, and I saw that from the landrover someone was photographing us. It's scary.

The cops are always filming in Germany. No matter if you are on a football match, a peacefull demonstration or a violent demenstration. ;) I must be on duzends of police videos. But I guess they are mostly using it as an intimidation of the demonstrators to prevent violence and to clearly see who has started violence or has taken part in it when riots are happening. I doubt that they are making a file on every peacefull demonstrator.

I really don't care if somebody is filming me, as long as its in a public place, bar the toilets.
