here's something I wrote for my website: vivalarevolution.net, figured I'd post it here for responses or if you want to fight me correct me ect ;).

Let us talk about a great man, let us talk about Che Guevara. I was browsing around for a Che image to print so I could hang it on my wall and I kept coming across ant-che images, like one that said “who needs Che?” WHO NEEDS CHE? We all do! Many will argue that Che was a common criminal, I will cover that in a bit, and others have a problem with the pop-culture icon that Che has become, to them I say: good! Che is the image of revolution, he is that burning desire in our guts to overthrow the corrupt system, and so for him to be publicly viewed, I see it as a positive. Although many will wear his shirt without having any clue who the man is behind the image woven into their fresh t-shirt that was made in a sweathouse somewhere in China, and they’ll never desire to know, there will be a select few who if for no other reason want to figure out why everyone is wearing this image, I know this to be fact, because I was one of those select few. I once bought a Che t-shirt strictly to be “cool”, and to be like everyone else, I had no clue who the man was behind the image then one day someone questioned me on him and I felt so embarrassed to not know who he was that I looked him up, googled, read, watched, ect, his image changed my life and if it weren’t for him leaking into the mainstream I wouldn’t be the way I am today.

Che was a murderer and a common criminal. its disturbing that young ppl today see him as some sort of savior! what did he do? he (helped) take out a dictator in order to put up a new one! it would be like if we took out saddamn and put up Stalin in his place! Not much sense if you ask me! Anyways, I like this pic, mostly cuz I hate Che.

This is a rather ignorant remark, how could you consider Che a common criminal? I will admit the man had his flaws, but he criminal he was not. To anyone who opposes Che’s political ‘cleansing’ I say to them this: There is enough agriculture produced worldwide to feed 12 billion humans, that is two times the earth’s population, and yet there is a child that starves to death every 7 seconds. If you’ve read up on communism, the “political and economic development” that Che was perusing, you would know that ideally speaking, this would not be an issue because everyone would have what they needed to survive. So, if in order for this to happen, in order to save that child that will die in 7 seconds of you reading this _word_, if it is necessary to execute the oppressors, the capitalist, if this is necessary to liberate the people, then to whoever opposes such a thing, I simply say: so be it.

hm, did I use the wrong word? By "select few" I didn't mean like the "chosen" ones, I just ment a few of them will actually look up who he is. Don't just laugh, contribute.
