im going to throw out a quick list of some hardcore and scream and metal bands off the top of my head. this is what i like.

Three of there Cd's were given to me and I stuck one into my cd player thinking it would be some good music. I literally jumped out of my bed and chucked that cd into the wall running for my tool cds to cover up the damage that had been done. Little to my surprise I found out afterwords, that they were the shittiest Christian hardcore rock band that has ever set foot on this earth. Supposedly they dropped there Christian ways for some record they released, and now there going all religious again. But it doesn't change the fact that it sounds emo..or scream-o or whatever the hell the lingo is.

Horrible.

I don't know about the rest, but these are NOT hardcore bands. THIS IS FUCKING METAL PEOPLE, NOT HARDCORE.

Harcore is bands like Blag Flag, Bad Brains, Adolescents and Minor Threat. Present day hardcore would include bands such as Rise Against or Good Riddance.

EXACTLY...all these new hardcore bands dont know what the roots are! I bet black flag would kick most of those those postcore/jesuscore/stupidcore/annoyingcore bands in the nuts.

Minuteme are far from hardcore, definately the right time, right place, but not right sound. They are actually BETTER than hardcore.
