I visited and talked to my old sophmore english teacher today about :hammer: Communism :hammer: and I asked about John Steinbeck. I just saw a post about "Of Mice and Men" and this reminded me of my question.
Was he a part of the Communist Party? I know he was very working class oriented and whatnot. His beliefs did rest within the power of the working class, but I'd like some direct info on his political involvment, beliefs, etc. Anything to do with him and ties to Communism. I really appreciate it.
