Sons of the workers unite all together
with our brothers in the south and the north
Can you not hear how mighty it roars
through out the world the words of liberty
out of the humiliating tomb of serfdom
up to an honorable and noble exploit
the yoke with the inscription “pray and forsake"
for a long time oppressed us in starvation and want
we demand back our dignity as humans
and fight for justice, liberty and bread
(again: we demand back...)
2.

Never has nature brutally drawn up
boarders that separate the poor from the rich
the mighty have heartlessly violently taken
all of the bounties just like a beast.
Against the disastrous statue of the gold calf
lets fight with ardent feelings and courage!
Jauntily against oppression a defense we are building
The watchword goes through out the nations like this:

“Join in together under our flag of unity
don’t get discouraged and the victory is ours!”

Wondering how popular this is in Sweden.

Another song I found:

The worker's flag is deepest red
It shrouded oft our martyred dead
And ere their limbs grew stiff and cold
Their life-blood dyed its every fold

Then raise the scarlet standard high!
Beneath its folds we'll live and die
Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer
We'll keep the red flag flying here

Look 'round, the Frenchman loves its blaze
The sturdy German chants its praise
In Moscow's vaults its hymns are sung
Chicago swells the surging throng

Then raise the scarlet standard high!
Beneath its folds we'll live and die
Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer
We'll keep the red flag flying here

It waved above our infant might
When all ahead seemed dark as night
It witnessed many a deed and vow
We will not change its color now

Then raise the scarlet standard high!
Beneath its folds we'll live and die
Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer
We'll keep the red flag flying here

It suits today the meek and base
Whose minds are fixed on pelf and place
To cringe beneath the rich man's frown
And haul that sacred emblem down

Then raise the scarlet standard high!
Beneath its folds we'll live and die
Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer
We'll keep the red flag flying here

With heads uncovered swear we all
To bear it onward till we fall
Come dungeons dark or gallows grim
This song shall be our parting hymn

Then raise the scarlet standard high!
Beneath its folds we'll live and die
Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer
We'll keep the red flag flying here

Well the first one is a traditional swedish workingclass movement song. And it's strongly assosiated with socialdemokraterna(the social democratic party). In other words the reformist left party who has ruled sweden more or less in 70 years time. they have done quiet some good things in the past, but nowadays they really suck, they've totally abandonned their socialist ideology an dare now best described as liberals. Concerning it's popularity, well it's mainly sung on socialdemokraternas mayday celebration, and on socialdemokraterna's meetings.

Well the other song looks for me like the song "the red flag" which as far as I know is an english song from the beginning, and as far as I believe I never heard it in swedish. It's not bandera rossa, which is strange since teh name is teh same, at least it doesn't sound like it (I've heard one song with the text you have written, and it's in billy braggs verson.).
bandera rossa has at least two different swedish texts.

Well, maybe I'm a bit confusing, sorry for that.
