Media Distortion

As you hopefully know, here in America the major corporate news channels will ignorantly refuse to show the dying soldiers in Iraq. The news tells us what we want to hear. There is a disgusting tie between Bush and the news channels, and that tie must be broken. The tie must be between the truth and the news. A liar speaks through the news and not an honest man. What can be done to break this tie?

I see this as peoples wilingness to swallow anything. If you wanted to know the truth you could get on the internet or watch Jim Lehrer. Commercial news is always bad because it's for the masses, it's for people who want to talkabout cats getting stuck up trees. I believe this is about the populaces willingness to not question the actions of their leader. The resources are there but I honestly believe they don't care and even if the news programs were telling the truth I doubt anyone would notice. People choose to be ignorant. Sorry to be harsh.

Well we cant stop the new$. The best thing to do would be to keep spreading the word about alternative media. Tell people about Democracynow and Indymedia. You could also make your own newspaper at your school and distribute it. Don't reform the media, fight the media!
